Our Story
Personal Experience. Professional Advocacy.
Advocates for Access was created out of personal experience, shaped by both the challenges and successes of navigating the special education system. As a parent to a child with multiple disabilities, I’ve learned that the most effective outcomes happen when families and school districts work together as a team. Through respectful collaboration and shared commitment, I’ve seen how meaningful progress can be made when everyone is focused on what truly matters—the child.
But I also know that not every family is met with that same spirit of cooperation. I’ve watched other parents struggle to understand their rights, speak up in IEP meetings, or find the support their child needs. Many feel overwhelmed, unprepared, and unheard. That’s why Advocates for Access exists: to walk beside families, help them navigate the process, and ensure they are equipped to be strong, informed partners in their child’s education.

Opening Doors. Empowering Futures.
At Advocates for Access, we believe every child deserves the tools, support, and opportunities to succeed — both inside and outside the classroom.
From advocacy to educational support, we stand alongside families, ensuring that no child’s needs are overlooked and no parent feels alone.
Because when access is given, potential is unlocked.
